I am sorry about not remembering Anakin's gender. When I first saw him at IMDB, he said he didn't want to be considered gender specific.

The break happened because a theatre company in Toronto had a connection with a TORONTONIAN working for Disney in LA. Stern was so adamant about KR's talent, he personally paid for his airfare to LA to do the screen test. Stern persistence was the reason KR got that job.(Katzenberg only conditionally relented and just because Geffen is Katzenberg's friend, doesn't mean that he factors into the equation.) However, as you can see above (I copied verbatim from your original post), that is NOT what you said, let alone implied. You actually went as far as to eject a decision maker (Eisner) and inject someone who didn't have anything to do with [it](Geffen).

What got my antenna up was the Sandy Gallin reference in the first paragraph of the NY Times article. Read it again. They were very close. Gallin and Geffen used to speak on the phone multiple times a day.(I don't think they were ever lovers, by the way.)

Think that Dolly Parton never said to Sandy, "hey, do me and yourself a favor. I got this costume designer friend named Patric. She's got a great looking son who's making a name for himself in the business and he's got a band. Can you meet him? Can you set up a meeting with Geffen?"

Actually, I don't even think that Gallin had to ask Geffen for a meeting.

One is supposition based on nothing but suspicion and being played off as "fact". What I posted was a direct quote from the person who managed KR's bands, the reason why he came to manage them and their connection (hockey).

Andromeda, I never tried to connect Dogstar to Geffen...never. Keanu was very much into the Hollywood music scene before Dogstar was created. Keanu loves music. Besides, if I were only going to link Keanu to Geffen through music, I would probably go all the way back to Asylum Records and Warner Brothers Records...and then go down the line with Alice Cooper, David Bowie and Lou Reed. Geffen was in the music business for a long time.

I connected Geffen and Keanu through Paul Aaron and Sandy Gallin. Sandy Gallin is Dolly Partons, longtime manager and business partner. When I first saw all the connections Keanu actually had to Geffen, I knew that they had both lied, it could not have been more obvious. I did read the King book but I also read Obsession, Calvin Klein's biography...which had much more information in it. King told how Geffen had screwed his old business partners...Obsession was much more about private lives. Another thing, if you have read many non-fiction books about Hollywood (I have) you know that George Christy or Jeannie Williams would never EVER have outed Keanu. It's not done, not by respected gossips. Those two people, really assumed that Keanu was an out actor. I think he was. I believe when his agency realized his money making potential, they stared telling him to get in the closet and keep quiet. I believe his affair with David probably ended before Dracula came out. Sometimes it takes a lot of time and research to unearth a truth. I don't think anyone wanted to hurt Keanu (except Charlie Sheen), I really believe Keanu was living as a gay man and then his agency realized he was getting a lot of attention, so they advised him to say stupid things that seasoned reporters understand. The handbook for closeted gay actors, everyone knows about it.
