I don't Keanu forgave him for that. Just my opinion.

Because it is an example of what I was talking about. Read the whole thing, if you can. Someone posts a reasonable question about Keanu, well written, with no spelling or grammatical errors.

Donna responds reasonably, with a theory based on reading and some intelligent conclusions about human growth and development.

Then (read on, Iamnofool) a bunch of crazed yahoos with the CAPS ON jump in, screaming and shouting, and basically tell Donna and the OP to STFU.

Keanu's fans are nuts. They are very passionate. That is why his Topix board is so lively.

All actors have crazy fans. Reeves has more. Why? Because he is a player in real life.

Anonymous people want to be out of anonymity and they show their names and photos, videos on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc...
Regular people struggle with life and money, they don't have much time to play on anonymous forums.

Many famous people like the anonymous forums. Internet is an amazing tool for them, it allows them to regain what they lost with celebrity : Anonymity.

This is one of his rare moment of honesty. People think that he is joking, but he is not. He really has no life. He is stuck between his work and his computer. He laughs because he knows that he is nuts.

IMHO, Reeves blames his father too much and gives too much credit to his mother.
If he is this sick manipulator it because he had a weak father who abandoned him and a strong mother who is a high class manipulator.

This is a b.s. statement. You have no way of knowing who has more crazy fans.

Also of note, many others have taken their "crazy fans" to court. i.e., Sandra Bullock's crazy fan tried to run her husband down outside their home. That sh!t hasn't come close to playing out in KR fandom.

I absolutely agree. It's a bullsh*t statement, especially because it's written by someone who doesn't know Keanu personally. And I tend to believe his friend doesn't know him as well. It all seems a "cyber story" where they put things together as they suit them.

People who are self-aware enough to know they are nuts, aren't. They may be screwed up, but they aren't psychopathic. I think Keanu is extremely neurotic but not psychotic.

His problem is one that many middle-aged people who haven't married or settled down have: your friends are all paired off. If not paired off, they've got children. Children are their priority. So for the first time in his charmed life (and it is charmed in certain respects) he's not the focus of anyone else's attention, except the people he pays to look out for him. When the group of buddies grows up and breaks up, the one who is left alone is - alone.

Also, in Keanu's case, a lot of his friends/buddies OD'd.

I was going to respond that I'm not a Keanu fan, I'm a Keanu watcher but again I've got to admit that you found me out. I am a fan. I won't waste my time on Sweet November, I think that half his performances have been awful, but I am a fan.

I don't know about now but in years past Kim was very much involved in Keanu's career. She was his sounding board, his rock and his oasis in the madness. There was some kind of backstage behind the scenes power struggle between her and Patric and Kim decided, bless her heart, to save her soul and let Keanu sink or swim with his harem(s) and mother. I don't know details and I wouldn't write them here if I did but that is the story I heard. Kim is a saint.

Jayne, I find your comment very interesting, obviously you took quite a time between your study ( would you like give me the name, may be one day I should push my daughter to follow it, seems to be stimulating for your research and observation skills ;)) to think about this questions. But I'm quite surprised about your kind of admiration for Kim. Do you believe, the saints exists beneath the Heaven?

Things came to a head in 2005...maybe 2006? Yes, money was involved but that wasn't the main thing. It was who had the greater influence over The Man.

Kim is a dear person who has helped people in many small ways.

I love gossip, too. That's why I'm reading this forum. Fool has livened it up.

Correction: I shouldn't have said money was involved because that's not what I heard, although I did wonder about that. I'm kind of drowsy now.

Buzz I heard was that this was long simmering tensions between Kim and Patric that blew up. I don't think it was any particular thing except a lot of anger that had been building up for a long time in Kim. That's all I know.

Maybe JustRightNow can clue us in.
