Shame the poem thread started off so well and has now gone to pot so for another attempt at infusing the board with a bit of magic can I share a few of my favorite Reeves interviews? In the one following it's quite charming how a simple comment from the lovely interviewer reduces Reeves to mush. And then she must have said something else that turned him to soup because she tells him he's blushing yet again and he agrees. How many interviewers can do that to Reeves? I think they should date, they'd make a lovely couple. http://www.youtube.com/watch... The ease between these two blokes and the cheeky way Frazier makes Reeves blush and squirm in his chair makes me wonder if perhaps they're friends in real life. http://www.etonline.com/news/2008/12/68612/ Surely Reeves has commented more times than anyone can count over the meaning of his name? But with this interviewer he again is reduced to more blushing and squirming after a few bloke jokes. Lovely to watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch... Enjoy!

?? The poem thread is still happening.:0) Just a couple of really, really, happy, smiley people about. LOL
The first URL you posted is very cute.("Make-up!") I liked how he was looking for the exit. Or was it a clock? hahaha...
I like his reference to "Magic" in the second URL. Yeah, the guy's definitely holding out for all the right reasons.

Oh, I can see the poem thread is still happening just completely incoherent for me now. ;-) Oh, and I don't think Reeves was in a rush to exit the interview at all! Just a wee bit of fun in calling for makeup to cover up his blushing cheeks. Reeves had such good rapport with the interviewers in these three videos that I just felt compelled to share them.

Thanks for sharing. Got a chance to check them out a few times. I'd say blushing works for me most. IMO Frazier and Keanu had been talking beforehand: he knew where to get to Keanu.

The blushing vid is good, but I also like the one about Christmas and having kids. In fact all three are good - simply Keanu!

Keanu and the interviewers are equally great I think. I'd seen the blushing vid before a few times (fab!) but the holiday plans vid I hadn't seen and it's brilliant! How did I miss that one?

Now there's some smile perks! Pirie thanks for finding these! What came out of the access hollywood interview is that yes the right woman can turn Keanu to mush. My ranking? 1. http://www.youtube.com/watch ... 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch ... 3. http://www.etonline.com/news/2008/12/68612/ Mind you the third one has it's own charm as Keanu clearly wants little ones.

Could only watch the 3rd video. The others aren't available in my country. I didn't understand all, had to look it twice or more to even understand all. But he seems very uncomfortable with the questions and tries to make the best of it... I guess, interviewers like to make him embarrassed, because he starts grinning and seems a bit nervous, which leads to a somehow funny and cute conversation. That's what his fans (esp. the female ones) want to see. I think.

"you can't order that up" That's so true. I have 2 friends who really have loved to have a husband and kids. They had partners, but it never worked out so far to get married or have kids. Whenever we thought it could work, the relationship broke for any reason. And they always hated it, when they were asked about why they never married and had kids. You can't order that up. Life just happens...

I met a woman on a train after I divorced. I was 35 and oppressive (walkman head phones stuck in my ears). She started up a conversation anyways. I'm glad she did. She was the most insightful woman I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Very long story short, she told me that we all do the same things. Just in a different order. That's a beautiful thought and something to hang onto.
Companionship is one thing. But children pick us and come to us via many means. Parenting isn't birthing. Some grow in our hearts. Some in our bellies. Their love is forever.

One of the friends is the leader of a Kindergarten (funny, it's a German word) and she loves all "her" children. Also she is godmother to her friends children. And since her friend died a few years ago, she cares a lot for them and they LOVE her. And the husband of her friend is really glad to have her for the kids, especially the girl, who is in puberty and sometimes needs a woman to talk to.
