Go away already Letterman. You were funny like 20 years ago. Your ego and 20 year old jokes are just lame and sad now.

Why does anyone care about Letterman's political views? I stopped watching him years ago because of his constant injection of his political viewpoint. Time to retire.

letterman needs to settle down and realize that
there are more important things going on in this
country than sitting on his campy talk show.
He seems to think he's a prima donna or
something like that. CHILL OUT DAVE!

Letterman is a hack and his humor has been abrasive and insulting for some time now. I haven't watched him in over a year and I won't be watching him in the future. At least Leno is politically indifferent when it comes to humor-he makes jokes about both parties. Letterman leaves little doubt as to which party he prefers and he slants his tired dialogue around it night after night.

McBush isn't fooling anyone....except another fool!
I find it interesting that Mcbush has been a large part of the problem in Washington yet suddenly he's going to mount his pure white stallion, gallop into the capitol and save the country!!!

Letterman's Top 10 list was "surprising facts about Sarah Palin," read by citizens of Wasilla, Alaska, where she was once mayor.

Haha,
To improve her foreign policy experience she recently went to the International House of Pancakes..

She calls Mcain Grandpa and spent a week in the hospital for trying to put lipstick on a pitbull.

What DOES Letterman have to do with the upcoming election? He's a STAND UP COMIC for god's sake.

Good thing that Letterman tells it like it is, most of the rest of the media are just lapdogs waiting on a treat.

Ha ha, look at the Republicans whining because someone is making jokes at the expense of their candidate. They sure didn't seem to mind the snarkiness during Palin's convention speech - they can dish it out but can't take it.

McCain should have shown up and at least punched Letterman in the nose. His constant jokes about McCain/Palin on his monologues are brutal. CBS is in the tank for the Messiah along with CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, NY Times, L.A. Times, NPR, and the Sun-Times. It's all going to backfire. The quiet, silent MAJORITY, can't wait to get into the polling booth to make this complete national nightmare of Barak Obama go away!
If all the media is "in the tank" for Barack Obama (spell his name right if you don't want to come across as a total moron), don't you think that there is something to be said for that? It is their job to get to know the candidates, and if McCain/Palin was that great a choice, I'm sure they would be enamored with that ticket, too.

All you know about McCain and Obama is what you assume and from what hear from your friends in your suburb. Have you ever actually interacted with Obama or McCain? If not, why the spite? You don't even really know either candidate. Get over yourself--you sound uniformed and sheltered.

But you're missing the point. It's incredibly Shakespeherian. Letterman is doing the country a favor, pointing out that there are no clothes, that there no there there with McCain. Heed the jester while ye still may, USA!

What you right-wing clown bags are forgetting is that McCain told Dave he had to go back to Washington, but instead stayed in NY and sat with Katie Couric.

I understand he's got a lot going on, but tell the truth. If he has to lie to get out of a talk show interview, what else isn't be being honest about?

Nobody here is advocating censorship. Look it up in the dictionary to make sure you know the meaning of the word. They are only saying that they don't like Letterman, and in fact ARE taking your advice by changing the channel.

Y'know, Republican faithful, you don't need to keep insisting over and over that Dave Letterman is irrelevant. Your dogged assertions that he doesn't matter pretty much contradict your message.

No wonder I hate Americans so much. Even the ones who voted for me beneath contempt. God, you people are stupid.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
