I recall seeing Christmas Specials done live by Johnny and June from the home and it was a very beautiful and homey looking place. It is sad to see such a wonderful place destroyed.

I saw the house in person in 1999 or 2000. It is (or was) amazing. Breathtaking. I was in a boat on Old Hickory Lake with my Dad who lives in Hendersonville. Johnny & June were still residing there at that time I was told. Does anyone know how the fire got started? That is sad, I think more people will be upset over that than if (God forbid!) Buckinham Palace burt down.
