He's being coy about why he was gone, which is ok, but it also serves to mask the fact that the trip was to see his twins; whatever this family crisis was, I think the best reason he would leave was because of his kids; maybe some kind of jealousy thing going with the new baby sis, or that line; he not have been a good husband, may not even be again, but I would like to think he's a good father.
