Jury Clears Doctors In John Ritter Wrongful Death Lawsuit

I sympathize with the family in their grief. It is very difficult to accept when someone as young as John Ritter dies. However, the jury reached to right verdict. If every surviving family whose loved one dies in the emergency room due to heart disease sued the doctors and hospital, we would not have decent doctors willing to treat patients. Where was the negligence? Unfortunately, Mr. Ritter didn't follow up as advised by the ER doctor previously. I lost my brother when he was 18 to an aneurysm. He was a healthy normal young man except for the time bomb in his head. The doctors took action steps to save him but it was too late the blood vessel blew out. No one gave my family a penny. I do not understand why John Ritter's family has already received millions from the hospital. Is it because it was a famous person who died in their hospital? That is ridiculous. Based on the facts I read it appears this should have never gone to trial. Only in California.

Unfortunately, from a financial aspect it is less expensive to settle out of court than to go to trial to prove that no worng doing was done. The Ritter family got a settlement and then decided thay wanted more.

Hurray for these two doctors! I am sick or hearing about the sickening GREED of the Ritter family. I hope his disgustingly wealthy bitch of a wife will slink off into the Hills and spend her millions.

I believe it is grief mis-directed against the doctors. I hope she finds peace after these drs. were found innocent. She has got to move on in her life.
