Oates = free ride. Kinda like Garfunkel, or Messina.

She's gone wasn't known too well from Hall & Oates. It flopped and Tavares picked it up and made it a hit. When hall and Oates was popular I was too little to understand the music. Now that I am older I can hear what they are saying. There music is so classy.

I can't go for that. No can do.
My personal favorite.

Garfunkel had a great voice! Oates was more like Andrew Ridgely of Wham!

But I do like some of those Hall and Oates tunes...remind me of my childhood :-)

Let's see... Clapton, Winwood, Allman, etc. Someone who actually made an impact on the music world. John Oates? Not even close! Anyone could have filled that spot with Hall.

You named guys that would have made it without their band members or being part of a band. Cream, Spencer Davis Group, Traffic...wait....did you say Allman? As in Allman Brothers? Come on! Allman brothers? Really? That's legendary?!

Just cannot get into the Allman brothers. Kinda creep me out. Otis Redding gives me the chills better than anyone. I'm telling ya. All my favs ARE dead. Concert going is not a hobby

Really couldn't get into Jimmy Buffet either. I think Jimmy Buffet is sick of Jimmy Buffet.
I sit here at work and listen to 70's mowtown all day. Otis, Temps, Marvin, Gladys, The Impressions...(just to name a few)..the gangs all here.
Otis' song Think about it just started playing now too. Talk about goosebumps. This song kills me everytime. The best line " I'm the one who showed you how to live. When you wanted to die"

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
