always good to hear positive news coming from Marin City...could be such a great place and has been mostly trashed by some of its residence.
Do the people there even realize how good they have it and how they have thrown the gift of living in Marin into the dumpster? Maybe I'll go sometime, but Marin City isn't a place I like to go. |

Too bad they did away with the flea market. That was a fun place to go.
I have to say that I have been to a couple funerals in Marin City, and it wasn't scarey. |

My family and I came out to see the Hookers perform and were surprised to see a third Hooker named Archie Lee Hooker, Jr. We caught him on stage with Zakiya and enjoyed his input. I think that all three should get together soon. I brought my grandchildren and they had a wonderful time with all of the activities you all had for them. It was a great day in the sun, good music, great food and fun for my entire family.
thanks for the fun in the sun |

This was the first time that I visited Marin City and if as commented by paronoid it is not such a good place. Perhaps they did not open their mind enough when they were at the festival. What I saw was community spirt and people of all nationalites having a very good time together and that did not indicate disfunction. Perhaps they should give the city a 2nd chance, which I understand everyone deserves at least once.
You should not let the actions of a few decided for the many. Think about it. |

Your right, it does deserve a second or should I say third or fourth chance...read news from Marin city and its usually negative. Also try visiting Marin City anytime after the sun goes down. You'll see a new side you didn't want to see.
I bet the festival was great and that it brought out all the right people and was quite a fun time. The only issue is the gangs, drugs and tons of section 8 people who don't respect the area and like to use those parking lots to gather together late at night. And no they aren't shooting the shit at those late hours, unless that includes actual shooting and drug dealing. |
