I wonder how much the DNC paid in bribes to the jurors. No different than GOP and their acts going unpunished too.

Of course he "proved" that he was "not" guilty. In other words he is a multi millionaire, and with enough money anybody can "prove" just about anything.

In fact, multi millionaire Bill Clinton even "proved" that he did not have sex with Monica Lewinsky, and then he also "proved" that he had not committed perjury in regard to his answers to the questions he was given concerning the details of his relationship with Lewinsky.

But regardless, I am reasonably happy with the results of the trial since it allowed the general public to learn considerably more about the "standards" and "ethics" of lawyers and politicians.

What makes you think the DNC would want to associate itself with that sleazeball? The DNC has disowned Edwards. They wouldn't even accept a collect phone call from him.

I know the GOP are pretty disappointed today. What a nice present while Bush was unveiling his portraits at the White House. I find that ironic.

Jesus was a conservative - not a socialist. For proof go here. Just place a dot "." before and after freerepublic...The liberals at topix don't like this site and will scrub any post that contains an active link to the site.

The DNC is made up of sleazeballs just like Edwards and Weenie Weiner. They will through each other under the bus for a nickel.

In regard to John Edwards and the people who have worshipped him and been dazzled by him:

I am truly amazed that we make such heroes out of politicians, and especially since most of them are nothing but demagogues, phonies, charlatans, and pathological liars through and through.

And especially since politicians, and as they have repeatedly proven, are also the third lowest form of life on earth.(NOTE: The seond lowest form of life on earth are lawyers, and the very lowest form of life on earth are people who are combination lawyer/politicians.)

For instance, I remember back in 1960 when I was a young child, and in a crowd made up mostly of adults, while we were all waiting for JFK to show up (it was the first political pep rally I had ever been to), and I looked around and started to think the whole thing was silly and that we were all acting like nothing but a bunch of mindless robots to get so excited and enthused over a guy, in other words a politician, whose main asset obviously was surface charm.

And some people in that crowd of surface charm worshippers, and since it was very well known that JFK had younger brothers, were even talking about the fact that in the future they would also have the "honor" and "privilege" of eventually voting for his younger brothers, and which they thought would be so neat and cool.

John Edwards Trial: Jurors Say Gov't 'Had No Case'

EXACTLY. There was NEVER a serious case. This was nothing but a cheap smear campaign against a hated Democrat who successfully challenged GOP interests in court and at the polls. And given a scandal to bite on, they thought they had him pinned to the mat, humiliated, maybe even jailed.

BUT YOU DIDN'T, DID YOU, LOSERS???

This is so funny...and I'm so f---ing happy to say "I TOLD you so, reTHUGlican losers! I TOLD you so!"

LOL

I wonder if you can back up your slander of the court, the jury, and our judicial system with facts, sourpuss?

I'm betting you can't, that you're just LYING again.
