What happened to John Cusack? In a Hollywood of Cruises and Clooneys, he was a romantic hero I could believe in, a former geek made good, a fast-talking, big-hearted nerd in a faded Clash T-shirt. Alas, the iconoclast I loved, the Cusack of my youth, is dead.
