What’s funnier is that you comment on the assless chaps but are SILENT about the 7 sex acts that we walked up on. Typical and is expected. AND….YES, IT DOES hurt my 7year old to see assless chaps and the other lewd and over the top BS that we witnessed. You may not think so but that doesn’t mean sh!t to me because I’m the father and you’re not. What I think, is or isn’t appropriate, matters in the raising of my children. Your post proves your lack of morals! My 1% is based on actual studies and I even posted links to back it up! You don’t like the TRUTH and you come back with numbers based on OPINION and that is all. The ability to have babies has EVERYTHING to do with it. Again, it doesn’t fit your agenda you try twist it but you lose every time. The ability to have babies is natural…..being a pickle smoocher is not! You want acceptance….I get that. Christians don’t HATE Homo’s…..and, God doesn’t hate them. There is a time and place for everything. At what two churches did you hold worship services? What’s even better is that you try to throw in “my wife’s uncle, a seicho-no-ie minister”…Bwaaa ha ha ha Seicho-no-ie is basically a type of cult formed in the 1930’s by a Japanese guy. Basically, your saying your father in law is a cool-aid drinker….and that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Basically, your saying your father in law is a cool-aid drinker….and that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! first of all, i don't have any agenda. your 1% is based on bullshit opinions and nothing more. and as far as 'morals' goes... each and every person in the world has 'morals'. what noone has, is the exact same moral compass as anyone else.'morals' are as indevidual as are finterprints... they can't be taught, or baught or learned from anyone else, be it parents, or the church and certainly not the bible. maybe it's time that you actually try to get yourself a little bit of education rather than sitting around expressing your ignorant opinions as to what is a 'cult'. you act as though your kids have never seen you or your wife, or each otehr walking to and from the bathroom starkers. you act as though they have never witnessed the two of you having some sort of sex. tell us all, what terrible sex acts did you witness and if they did happen, why on earth do you think that they would bother your children in any way, shape or form? personally, i think that you're feeding us a line of bullshit, anyway. it never happened and you're only attempting to make things up to make someone you don't agree with took bad only because you don't believe that homosexuality exists in the world. and yes, it's quite natural. another fact that you seem unaware of is that having babies has nothing at all to do with marriage, or with love. all pregnancy is is a messy byproduct of having sex. not only that, but even the idea of the human species breeding at this point in history is incredibly stupid. with over 7 billion people on the planet putting it at well over 500% of the number of humans that the planet can sustain wouldn't you think that it's time to back off of procreation anyway? the human infestation is killing the planet, and is forcing not only the human species into extinction, but every other species as well. there should be at least a 1 generation (30 to 35 years) moratorium on human breeding to allow them to die down to a manageable rate. get a clue.

Wat the Tyler wrote: <quoted text>Obama said he will repeal DOMA. That would mean all 50 states would have to recognize same sex marriages performed in other states because of the federal government recognizing same sex marriage. You are incorrect. I suggest you read the article 5 myths about Same Sex Marriage. It's also posted here on Topix for discussion. One of the myths it debunks is that States MUST recognise marriages from others because of the Full Faith and Credit Clause in Article 4 Sec. 1 & 2. Personally I think it SHOULD apply but it hasn't been.

RiccardoFire wrote: <quoted text>I love the sinner, not the sin. But just like most "Christians" you pick and choose what sins you consider to still be sins and which ones you no longer consider sins. I came across this column today. Hopefully you'll read it and think about just how well you really follow what Jesus tried to teach. My Take: The Christian case for gay marriage. By Mark Osler http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/19/my-t... "I am a Christian, and I am in favor of gay marriage. The reason I am for gay marriage is because of my faith. What I see in the Bible’s accounts of Jesus and his followers is an insistence that we don’t have the moral authority to deny others the blessing of holy institutions like baptism, communion, and marriage. God, through the Holy Spirit, infuses those moments with life, and it is not ours to either give or deny to others. A clear instruction on this comes from Simon Peter, the “rock” on whom the church is built. Peter is a captivating figure in the Christian story. Jesus plucks him out of a fishing boat to become a disciple, and time and again he represents us all in learning at the feet of Christ. During their time together, Peter is often naïve and clueless – he is a follower, constantly learning. After Jesus is crucified, though, a different Peter emerges, one who is forceful and bold. This is the Peter we see in the Acts of the Apostles, during a fevered debate over whether or not Gentiles should be baptized. Peter was harshly criticized for even eating a meal with those who were uncircumcised; that is, those who did not follow the commands of the Old Testament. Peter, though, is strong in confronting those who would deny the sacrament of baptism to the Gentiles, and argues for an acceptance of believers who do not follow the circumcision rules of Leviticus (which is also where we find a condemnation of homosexuality). His challenge is stark and stunning: Before ordering that the Gentiles be baptized Peter asks “Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” None of us, Peter says, has the moral authority to deny baptism to those who seek it, even if they do not follow the ancient laws. It is the flooding love of the Holy Spirit, which fell over that entire crowd, sinners and saints alike, that directs otherwise." Editor's Note: Mark Osler is a Professor of Law at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I've posted this column in the Religion Forum on TOPIX and hope many will join the discussion there.

Hell, it took an activist judge to overturn the will of the people in lala land. And YOU need to check your facts. It was never voted down. What was passed were laws that banned it, not laws that would maker it legal. And in fact one of those bans failed the first time. In all cases where SSM is now legal it was VOTED on and passed. People like you are amusing. You whine about judges ruling on laws, and call them activists who overturn the will of the people. Yet you are perfectly happy if a Governor like Schwarty or Christy over rule the will of the people when they veto legislation passed by the ones the people elected to voice their will.
