Joan Baez is a wacky 60 era space cadet that has fallen on her head numerous times. Maybe she slipped on the bird poop.

I actually met Joan Baez when I worked for ABC news. She was a nice, friendly, clear-headed woman.

I listened to her music when I was growing up and, in looking back I realize that she, herself, was also growing up at that time. Meeting her when we were both in our forties, I didn't get the impression that she was a pot head.

Most of you seem to be ignorant of the fact that this woman spoke out (and sang) against the Viet Nam war when one was harshly criticized for doing so. It wasn't an easy path she chose.

I wish her the best and hope that she soon recovers from her accident.

I hope that all of you each have something equally bad happen to you or a loved one so that you can develop some compassion. You folks seem almost inhumane in your "disconnect".

Yep! I think that sometimes the only way for someone to understand hardship is to have some experience with it.

Doesn't have to be a "tragedy" that happens; Joan Baez took a tumble and walked away, but some of these people have to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. If they haven't experienced some of life's challenges yet, they need to. Barring that; they need to shut up!

I hope she feels pain everyday .her and her pot head friends caused a lot of pain with her lies .I will never forget her and her free concert over headwaters no i was not one of the freaks in the crowd .I was one of the people trying to earn an honest living at the mill next door she was protesting .And joan if you ever read this and feel good about the trees you saved i just WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS I KILL THEM IN YOUR NAME EVERY DAY IM ALIVE headwaters should have been selectively harvested ...

Sort of funny she makes her home in woodside a former redwood lumber town its self .Look around joan the trees grow back .
