I was so sorry to hear about your dog. I hope to God she was able to get away and she will run home to you. I have 2 dogs and they are like my kids. What a horrible horrible thing....my thoughts and prayers are with you.

A couple of quacks here. One that can't even write in complete sentences - hard to understand what she is saying - a product of texting I see. The other just an optimist. Dog should have been on a leash. When will people learn.

I would remember her as you knew her,and how much you loved her. It's best not to deal on what probably was Daisys fate. Coyotes are scavengers,and they pick smaller animals to feed on...Their territory for hunting is closing in...They've chose the streets,and communitys now...Pets are easy pray if not supervised...Children are too...I've heard of frequent attacks...It may come down to eliminating coyotes...That attack children,and peoples pets. How sad another species may become lost as so many already have...My prayers are with you...South Carolina Deb

Whoever rated my comment as clueless....."hello? "...did you even see the story on the news? A coyote ran off with her dog...she is pleading for it's return....to...who???...the coyote??? Think about it. Unfortunately, the dog is no longer alive. I love dogs, just thought her comment was, as I said, a bit farfetched, but understandable in her grief.

the coyote should be charged with animal cruelity . if a human did this they would be in jail.
