I am so, so sick of reading the word EPONYMOUS. Must it be thrown into every article? It's nearly as trite as the term GO-TO which one cannot avoid nowadays and I'm surprised Grosssberg did not stick into this story. What is it with those two terms? They were never used until recently and now they are in every article. Writers: Please know that when we see those two words appear we label you idiots.

Woman, apparently 50 million viewers of his show are wrong along with the millions that sellout his shows every year. His stand up is unique and entertaining much like his #1 show was for over a decade.

If I could see Jerry Seinfeld in person I would try to convey my RESPECT for him buy saying: "You are one of few who can make people laugh without being in the gutter." Thank you for the reruns I watch whenever I can. In this crazy world we live in how nice to have a brief escape. If that is what you wanted to accomplish Mr. Seinfeld you have done so in a very big way. God Bless you and the joy you bring. Charlie Sheen could learn from you.

I watched the first Seinfeld show and was unimpressed. I watched the second thinking the stinky first show was a fluke. It wasn't. Half way through the third show I changed the channel and never went back. Jerry Seinfeld is not funny.

Some of you people need to get a life. For the ones that don't think Jerry Seinfeld is funny, hey, you're entitled to that opinion. I'm sure these folks didn't go see him last night, but it's funny to me that they can take the time to comment on the review. Oh, I geuss if "2 and a Half Shows" says Jerry Seinfeld isn't funny I should change my opinion of him. These people should just go watch the adolescent, unoriginal humor in every episode of 2 and a Half Men. I'm sure thy would all be thoroughly entertained. Seinfeld is one of the all time great stand up comics whose unique style and observant wit is appreciated and adored by millions.

Seinfeld not only continues to be funny and relevant, he has energy on stage that a lot of comedians just don't put the effort for. After all these years of performing it seemed like it was one of his early sets- brilliant! What a show! BTW- Who needs 5 hours of energy!

As for his comic "talents" they are ignored by hundreds of millions if not billions.

the show had funny moments, and not funny moments - conditional to what I saw as relevant or irrelevant. the haters play up the irrelevant and call him boring, while the lovers play up the relevant and call him creative. he is a man who was the apex of an ensemble that won a lot of people over, and now has moved on/back to stand-up. I'd see him again, cause I loved his show.

I could never stand Seinfeld or his stupid show. And the millions of people who do like him must be as funny as the proverbial rubber crutch.

It merely indicates how many stupid people there are in this country (which is a lot).

Not to mention some good taste. I'd say anybody who thought Seinfeld was funny definitely needed to get a life. Of all the better things one could be doing with their time.

It's really pathetic that since you don't like his humor that everyone who does must be stupid.
That's like me thinking people are stupid because they like sour cream because I don't like it.
If you guys don't like Jerry Seinfeld then why are you reading this article.
