Nicole Kidman “In Awe” of Daughter

Nicole Kidman says she is “completely in awe” of baby Sunday Rose. The actress gave birth to Sunday, her first child with husband Keith Urban, July 7.

“We are in heaven,” she says.“We can’t stop staring at her in complete awe. We are feeling incredibly blessed to have been given this precious little angel.”

Meanwhile, a rep for the couple has confirmed that they will not be selling pictures of Sunday to the media.“A number of publications called to offer money, but she never considered it,” said the rep.

I see a touch of sarcasm behind Jennifer's remark...I'm sure their babies are BEAUTIFUL. I wouldn't want anyone to have babies they didn't love.(Not an exact quote) Isn't she saying Brad and Angelina couldn't love their children unless they were perfect? Do you think there is a bit of marital history there? Did Brad Pitt criticize Jennifer's looks while married to her? Or, was it just after their separation that his PR people criticized her looks? Am I reading too much into Jennifer's remark?

Hi there Aquarius

I thought that was rather a stilted comment. Since (I think?) it was said that a friend of Jen's said that she made the statement, I wonder if it is true. But if she did say that- I would wonder about the meaning of that oomment too. I doubt Brad made her looks an issue (he seems too nice a guy for that), but the Brangelina Loon Fan Base has been terrible in that regard.

Well, I certainly did not want to be the one
to point out this very sticky subject. It is
the type of thing that I would do,
in order to try to stir up a discussion.

Is someone trying to drag David Arquette into
the soup? It sounds like his way of speaking,
imo. He sort of beats around the bush, but in
a nice and backwards way...that you can take
both ways and still get a double meaning (smile.)

Don't you picture Jennifer crying in her margaritas, and blubbering that statement!!!

Vince Vaughn is the best star for the buck, says Forbes magazine.

Vaughn raked in $14.73 of gross income for studios for every dollar he was paid for "The Break-up," "Wedding Crashers" and "Dodgeball," the magazine calculated for its special entertainment issue, now on newsstands.

"That's because until recently his salary was relatively low, and the films he was in, like `Wedding Crashers' and `The Break-up,' had modest budgets yet did extremely well at the box office worldwide ($285 million and $205 million, respectively)," Forbes said.

Forbes said it compiled the Ultimate Star Payback list by looking at the stars' last three films that opened wide in at least 1,000 theaters before 2008 and were made in the last five years.

It calculated the gross income for each film by adding half the worldwide box office and the first three months of wholesale DVD revenues and then subtracting its budget. The gross income was divided by the actor's total compensation to derive his or her payback for the movie.

Tobey Maguire ranked No. 2 on the list, with a gross income return of $13.44 for each dollar of his pay for the "Spider-Man" sequels and "Seabiscuit." Julia Roberts was in third place with a gross income return of $13.19.

Brad Pitt ranked fourth with $12.73, followed by Naomi Watts and Matt Damon ($12.16 each), George Clooney ($11.56), Jennifer Aniston ($10.48), Hugh Jackman ($9.90) and Ben Stiller ($9.50).

The highly paid, highly bankable Will Smith who reliably led the July Fourth weekend with a $66 million debut for "Hancock" ranked 21st with a gross income return of $5.64 for every dollar spent on the big-budget superstar.

Nicole Kidman is at bottom of the list, at No. 35. Her high-paying roles in "The Golden Compass" "The Invasion" and "Bewitched" averaged only $1.01 of gross income.

Kidman's ex, Tom Cruise, brought in $3.99 not altogether surprising, given the imbalance of his high salary demands with the 2007 box-office flop "Lions for Lambs."

Jim Carrey averaged $4.11 per dollar earned in "The Number 23" "Fun With Dick & Jane" and "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events."

I also wondered if, in fact, Jennifer ever said that. You say Brad a nice guy? Is he? I don't know him (ha, ha). I do know that men who are unfaithful to their wives often try to project the blame for their infidelity on their wives. There is something wrong with their physical appearance, they're not too bright, they spend too much money, etc.(This of course applies to wives who cheat on their husbands as well.) This blame game can make a basket case out of the spouse if they believe for a minute that there is a grain of truth in the derogatory statements. Sometimes these statements are made out of guilt. Sometimes they are made to lower the spouse's esteem so they won't have the gumption to go looking for another lover while the philanderer wanders. I would have hoped that by now Jennifer would have put these memories out of her head for good. However, IF she made that statement, it would appear that she has some hurtful memories.

I highly doubt that Jen or anyone would make a comment like that. I truly hope that she has moved on and is happy. Breakups are hard enough but to have to see your ex-husband and the woman he cheated on you with splashed all over the world in pictures cannot be easy. It amazes me every time I see a clip of her talking about her family like the world does not remember that she got involved with a married man and was pregnant before he was divorced. I think she must be a bit insecure though to add 5 kids in 3 years to her family with Brad - it makes it looks like she was afraid maybe Brad would try to go back to his wife. Not to worry - who would want him now? I just think she is a hypocrite. She cannot forgive her own father for cheating on her mother but did the same thing herself to Jennifer Aniston. I will never pay to see one of her movies.

You are probably right. Jennifer most likely never made that comment, and has put the hurtful parts of her marriage to Brad Pitt behind her. I wouldn't hold a grudge against Brad and Angelina if I were you. Brad and Jennifer evidently had a difficult marriage for many reasons. It is probably just as well that they went their separate ways. They seem to be very different types of people, don't you think?

You are right! If he did cheat then he is not so nice. I have never even laid eyes on him in person! I do think Jen was hurt and I have always felt for her in this situation. The W mag spread was the deal breaker for me- even though I have been repeatedly told it was just business and nothing Pitt could have really controlled,

I think I keep coming back to this post because I want some kind of positive resolution to this situation. Knowing the public is watching her every move, hoping for a happy ending, must drive Jennifer Aniston crazy. You mention the W magazine article. I never saw the actual article. I only saw the pictures from the article on the internet. In my opinion the pictures put a very depressing slant on marriage. If I were Jennifer, I would have been happy I missed that boat. Was there written material along with the pictures that shed some light on the pictures? I do not necessarily think Brad Pitt is a horrible person. Think about it - when we have gotten ourselves in some kind of trouble, we are sometimes responsible for unacceptable behavior that is not really planned on a conscious level. It's a way of shielding ourselves from the guilt we feel, but don't want to face. Later, we can look back and say, "That was a terrible thing I did. Why did I act that way? Why did I say that?"

I don't know what the heck
you two are talking about, but
I will interrupt by saying that
I once read that Brad and Jennifer
had begun fighting like alley cats,
and would have the greatest "make up"
sessions!!!

Maybe the pattern got good
