Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy were far more than "Warblers" as you put it in your column regarding "Bitter Sweet". Aside from Noel Coward's 'weeping', these two singers were extremely popular in the 'Thirties' when music still had a 'musical' lilt.

For what the tickets cost, you'd think they could at least manage British accents for a show that takes place in London, and some decent chorus girls. Not worth the time or money.
