BOYCOTT ALL BUSINESSES DOING BUSINESS WITH MEXICO. BOYCOTT ALL MEXICAN VACATIONS. Spread the word and together will can do what congress can't or won't.

At least that's the only way I could remotely connect this rant with the movie review. Of course,buying Mexican products and traveling to Mexico means there would be more jobs in Mexico, which would cut down on illegal immigration in the U.S.

John Barrymore stared in 1939's The Great Man Votes (not a Capra film) and the plot revolved around a local, not a national, election. Still, with an election coming down to a single vote, a single father doing anything to please his daughter, and the manner of courting the voter for his votes, it is obvious that this is the same movie. I haven't seen this movie but I have read some reviews, and I haven't seen a reviewer yet point out that this movie is a contemporary remake. Don't people watch anything that isn't on DVD anymore?

I am happy to travel to Mexico. I am happy to patronize businesses that do business with mexico. And most importantly, I am happy to do business with any business that employs mexicans, legal or not.
