Leno: I'd return to 'Tonight'
Prime-time newcomer Jay Leno says he would have rather stayed put at "The Tonight Show" - and if NBC offered him that job again, he'd take it.

1 I haven't watched his show at 10p since it began at that time. I am particular what I watch-and yes, there are few quality shows on primetime-more on Cable. But Jay at 11:30p NYTime - his monologue at least, made me laugh ! Must be something about the time slot he has now; too many other shows that are quality at 10p (NY time.) Can't bother to record. |

I agree with Derinconcita. Who cares, I have cable where there is actually still good shows on. Network TV is a joke.

If he went back to "tonight", I would be thrilled, as then NBC could bring back their 10PM shows, which were really very good.
They were all cancelled to make room for Jay to have a10PM slot that he didn't even want? WTF? |

I hate Conan O'brien, I never did like him, I don't like any of the other's either? Like Jimmy Kimmel, or Letterman, He's okay, not much thougH??? Leno was the best, except for Johnny Carson, he was the one & only. No#1. |

I loved him on the Tonight Show;Now when he is on at 10pm...His show is over too fast it seems..it just gets into the good stuff,then goodnight!

Years ago when Leno said he would leave after 15 years I knew he was making a mistake. He was good and having too much fun,so why leave? And Conan is about as funny as rugburn. I have no idea why NBC ever picked him,of all the people out there,he is about the least talented. I could do a better job! I don't watch Conan not only because I don't like him,but because I am also hoping that his ratings will go in the tank and they'll take Leno back. Jay has fungus toe fungus that's more talented than Conan O'Brien! He should be working a toll booth on the Jersey Turnpike,not hosting "The Tonight Show"!

I don't know if you're serious or not,but if you are,I spent ten years writing for stand-ups,and even the best are not very good at paying. One time I had to chase a guy (by phone) from Seattle to L.A.,to Canada and finally caught up with him in Phoenix. I have heard many excuses,but the worst was when I had a guy who claimed that 'HE HAD WRITTEN THE JOKE'! Try arguing over that. Anyway,Good Luck! |
