Alcorn school district in financial crisis

I attended the meeting last night, at the WIN center and what I came away from the meeting with, is there was alot of "SMOKE BLOWING" going on. We have these elected board members who are supposed to be montoring and approving every penney of money that is spent by the schools and they allow us to get this far in debt. I think the people of Alcorn County should be looking at a "RECALL ELECTION" for these board members and elect someone who will pay attention to the job they are elected to do.
People want to point a finger at the former supertent but we have to remember that he "CANNOT" spend one penney of money with out the boards approval. The board members can try to "BLOW as much SMOKE" as they want to in trying to cover up their negelect in preforming their elected responceabilies but the bottom line is that they are the ones responceable for the money.
