I like Janet and admire her for having the strength to keep going after the tragedy. She reminds so much of Michael, even the way she laughs.... they were so close, and now she's on her own.

Good for her, I bet MJ is proud of her!Maybe she can continue MJ'S message LOVE!!!

Janet Jackson is one of the best female singers of the last few decades. For her being part of one of the greatest families in entertainment history, she has a wonderful disposition and no one has ever considered to slap the "Diva" tag on her. Shame on anyone thinking she's using MJ's death to further her own career. There are no two siblings in any industry closer than Michael and Janet were. I applaud her for getting through the "Wardrobe Malfunction" fiasco. Anyone weaker would've been devastated beyond repair. My prayers go to you and the rest of the family. And I too pray that MJ finally found the peace that eluded him his entire life.

Actress/singer Janet Jackson was spotted Thursday (Jun 3) in Harlem, New York City as she filmed scenes for Tyler Perry’s latest movie project, the film adaptation of “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf.” Also spotted in Harlem on the set of the new movie were Whoopi Goldberg and director Tyler Perry.

The movie will be written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry and features a cast that includes Loretta Divine, Kimberly Elise, Jill Scott, Kerry Washington, Anika Noni Rose and more. Mariah Carey had also been cast but pulled out at the last minute for “medical reasons.” Mr. Perry said actress Thandie Newton will replace her in the film, scheduled to be release sometime in 2011.

BTW - at the performance with the maldrobe malfunction she did not "whip it out". The whole thing wasn't even a second. The media totally blew it out of proportion. Some people watching hadn't even noticed until a whole big bruhaha by the media and apparently women who were watching wtih their husbands and got upset because they got excited. LOL

I can see where actors would have to rely on their own personal experiences to feel a particular emotion for a part. Janet Jackson told Jay Leno that's what she did while filming a sad scene for her new movie,'Why Did I Get Married Too?' She was filming it when Michael Jackson passed away suddenly.
