Bye, bye 'Boston Legal'

Full story: Baltimore Sun

I am not sure this series had soul, but they certainly formed the heart of it. In so doing, they became one of the more intelligent, engaging, off-beat and enduring professional couples on TV.

I only recently discovered Boston Legal, and now it's going away. In a TV landscape where the elderly are usually depicted as senile, it was rather courageous for the writers of Boston Legal to give viewers older characters who were smart, if quirky. Bringing in both Alzheimers and Aspeger's was both unusual and commendable.

Enough with the lawyer drama, and its cousin the murder / forensic investigation show.

Fresh ideas? See HBO and Showtime.

I for one love this lawyer drama, and this is without a doubt, the best show on television. If you don't like this show, you have no idea what good is. I would not say that for any other show on television right now, as not even the show's predecessor, "The practice" even held a candle to BL. I cannot beleive it is going away so soon. I have been hooked since the final Practice episodes with James Spader and William Shatner. I miss Rene Auberjonis and I am happy that he is on the final episode tonight.

I have been a Shatner fan for years. He is one of the classiest individuals in Hollywood, and probably anywhere. I hope that something good spins off of this show. To David Kelley: You cannot quit on us now man, I know you've got more! You have kept myself, my family and friends all laughing now for five years. Now where are those Boston Legal DVD's?

Oh please, it was the most liberal biased show on tv, It wasted the enjoyable talents of William Shatner and James Spader with heavy handed storylines which chased away viewers. Good riddance to liberal garbage.

Something very very liberal will happen. That is a given.

This column is Exhibit A in the case of why the Sun is in bankruptcy today.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
