Its hard to believe CBS would make such a stupid decision to cancel the Guiding Light. You would think if anything they would be proud to carry the longest running show on TV. Lets hope another network will have the good sense to pick up this show. Its a great show, its better than most of the night time lineup. The cast of GL is the best.

Please reconsider and keep the Guiging Light on the air. The show's longevity speaks to the quality of the show and the characters. Ratings can change--please do not do the long time viewers the injustice of show cancellation. We have plenty of game shows and talk shows- please do not take away our neighbors from Springfield. I remember watching the show when it was 15 minutes long sharing the half hour with Search for Tomorrow. We need the show to stay on the air. Please reconsider and do not cancel the Guiding Light!!!

Please think twice before taking Guiding Light off the air. They have alot of fans that care about this show. It would be awful to let this soap go. Its the best soap on tv so PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT OFF THE AIR. It will be a BIG BIG MISTAKE.

While I am a fan of GL - if you are having to replace it - CBS and P&G should look at replacing it with Kim's Closet - a new, refreshing lifestyle and makeover show. They are saying the host Kimberly is going to do for fashion what Rachel Ray has done for food - make it fun.... www.KimsCloset.TV

Instead of saving Guiding Light, Procter & Gamble should be taking the drug Actonel off of the market. It almost killed me. Since taking Actonel 35mg I have had two surgeries at two different times on my esophagus. My throat closed up. I could not even swallowed my own spit. And on another ocassion I was Hospitalized for over a week from black tarry bloody diaherria stools from my rectum. I had to received two bags of blood on different occassions. Not to mention severe body pain ulcers and much much more. On going pain. And to think I was sent a $800.00 check for my out of pocket expenses, which was more than $800.00 and nothing for my pain and suffering than and now. Since than my doctor has taken be off of Actonel. Since than I have gone to different web sites and read what Actonel has done to other people and there are many injuries. This has got to stop.
