Judged: 1 1 1 Years ago, Rush commented on an idea that the left came up with of creating their own version of Rush on a left-wing radio channel. Rush said "It can't be done, because liberals don't have what I have. The success of my show is liberals. We read to you what they say, play audio's, tell you about what the media says. In other words, the success of my show depends on liberals; they are the entertainment. " |

Judged: 1 1 1 Since the SC healthcare decision, Romney has raised twice the money nobummber has. Ten million two days ago from Vegas. Turn out the lights, the party's over. |
I see who the people are that are not paying attention here. What are the transgressions of Romney that you guys on the left found? He went on vacation with his dog on the roof? He played a schoolyard prank by cutting another kids hair? As a joke, he dressed up like a cop???? Desperation knows no bounds on the left. You are going to take a clean cut guy like Romney--a successful guy like Romney, and go to battle with a smoking ex-druggie who put this country 5 trillion more in debt, lost our perfect credit rating, and leaving us with over 8% unemployment? Good luck on that one. |

UUUUHHHH, you forget to mention when he was governor his state rated 47th on job starts. This point, and his ability to send most jobs overseas will be the big topics. |
While you are making that point, don't forget to mention what Romney had to work with as Governor: Democrats. You guys are always telling us how Republicans are holding DumBama back. Well...... what's good for the goose........ Our Governor is working with Republicans which is why our state is moving forward, and went from 47th in job creation under Strickland to 8th in no time at all. Our unemployment is one percent lower than the nation, and he even wiped out our debt. In May, 25% of all jobs nationwide were created right here in Ohio. He did this in spite of opposition and obstruction from leftists and unions. People who provide jobs don't want to deal with a country where the leader is constantly threatening them with new taxes. They don't want to open up operations in a country where they have to deal with nonsense like Obama Care. They don't want to pay the high price of fuel because DumBama shut down coal powered electric plants or made them invest millions which gets passed on to the consumer. That's not a good business environment. That's why there are no jobs. If you want to vote on how much you like or dislike somebody, then vote on American Idol. But if you want to vote for what's good for our country, then vote Romney. |

So are you saying that >our< President Obama should not be held responsible for jobs stagnation, due to the fact he works with republicans. What's good for the gander. The captain of the ship is held responsible for the "working" of the ship >during the sail<. If the economy does not improve more under President Obama, then yes, he will be the "captain", as was President Bush who was the "captain" when this great recession began. Sure some of the jobs loss are due to high taxes, but while on big bussiness, why do big business {oil} get tax breaks while obtaining the largest >PROFITS< in the history of this rock? Let big oil pay their share taxes and not rely on us for their increased >PROFIT< margins! More money in the consumer's pockets, more tax monies in the national coffers. This sounds like a winning combination to me. |
Profit is irrelevant when it comes to taxation. Big Oil as you call them don't get any more or any less tax breaks than any other business. They are called business expenses. And if we deny oil companies write-offs, then to be fair, we must cancel write-offs for all our companies in the US. That's not a good idea when you have over 8% unemployment and the country 16 trillion in debt. But if you still want to combat these oil companies and their big profits, the solution is simple: buy oil stock That's it, plain and simple. I don't expect you to do that of course. After all, out of the top 215 profit companies and commodities, oil companies collectively ranks about 114 with a profit margin of 6.2% of every dollar earned. Not a bad investment, but certainly not the best one. |
