Hilary Duff disses Amy Lee

Before she did this I couldn't care less. I wasn't a hater and I wasn't a fan.

But then... THEN... she goes and insults my FAVOURITE SINGER!!!That is where I draw the line.

What was it that Hilary duff said about her.... oh yeah... Something about Amy Lee being freaky, the music being freaky and the album should be taken off the shelves because it scares little children!

Well hilary I've got news for you:

Your face up-close is enough to mentally scar a small child for life.

But you're probably just jealous because Amy Lee and Evanescence actually got somewhere, were number one in several contries and have had plenty of sold out shows, whereas all you got were the 7-13 year old Teenies who will soon grow up and realize that you are a FAKE SL*T

I'm guessing Hilary's also jealous because Amy Lee can actually sing live, something Hilary would never be allowed to do (It would deafen too many people and concert organizers aren't allowed to make that risk) plus Amy Lee can actually play an instrument, can Hilary? no didn't think so.

What am I forgetting... oh yeah. This is something Hilary has NEVER done in her life...
Amy writes her own lyrics *shock horror* and they have a lot more meaning than Hilary's manufactured pop rubbish that spurts out from her horribly digitally modified voice.

Okay I'm done now. Maybe when you grow a bit then you'll realise how fake and digitally altered everythign on her is.

Wow. That's probably the most true thing ever said on this site. I didn't mind it when she was just an actress making crappy movies, but when she tries to stay in the spotlight by lying to people, that's when it started to piss me off. Also, something I respect most about Amy Lee, she has one thing she's good at and sticks to it. She loves singing and is incredibly talented. Duff on the other hand is horrible at both. God, I've freaking had it with people like her. Maybe if all their money disappeared someday and they had to live like real people, just maybe they'd understand.

I said NATURAL beauty. Not re-touched, photoshopped, make-up plastered fake people.

Amy Lee is naturally beautiful, she doesn't need the re-touching and even when she dosn;t use make-up she looks fantastic. You are confusing natural beauty with ugliness.

Oh and keep in mind that Amy recorded that song in a closet, with no studio-equipment. For the heavier songs Ben and David recorded the guitars and drums in another room and then they put the two clips together. They then sold the album containing this song at a local gigs.

Whereas Hilary had the best studio equipment possible.

Amy Lee is a true vision of beauty. Hilary duff understands nothing about the dark side, and she probably never will, that chick lives in her own little world, where as Amy Lee lives in the real world where real stuff happens. Amy Lee's music gives us all a haunting and true view of the world, while Hilary just jumps up and down on stage singing about crap that doesnt matter and probably wont matter tomorrow. AMY LEE ROCKS!!!!

I personally don't like Hillary very much. But then again, I don't really pay any attention to her.

I don't think she has that much of a voice, and she's an ok actress. Personally, she's someone who I can stand and go," She's ok." and not, "Oh my god she f-ing sucks." At the same time, I don't really like her music. Maybe that's because at one time it was overplayed. The only song I do like of hers, however, is Why Not, and that's about it.

As for what she said about Amy Lee, I think that's kind of funny. Music= contoversy/lyrics. I mean, if it's freaky, that's her opinion, but to say it should be taken off the shelves because it, "scares little children" is a little far fecthed. I mean, come on there are FAR MORE bands out there with lyrics that are much darker and more explicit than that of Evanescence (not that evanescence was explicit in the first place).

As for looks, I think Hillary is cute. She's not the most beautiful person in the world, but she's certainly not ugly, and to say so would be a little unfair.

I like Amy better however, because she seems more natural. There's just something about her that seems more natural than Hillary. To me,Hillary's voice sounds a little fake (sorry Hillary fans!).

I've heard people say Amy Lee sucks. I'm a huge fan of her music, and even i have to admit, that on the Anywhere but Home DVD, her voice wasn't that great. But, on 10/29/06, I saw her in concert, and she blew me away. Her voice has improved so so much since a few years ago. She sounds pretty much the same as she does on the album, but you can tell there'sa difference. So, to say she sucks now (as in her voice) is a little crazy.

Maybe Hillary and Amy shouldn't be linked together just becasue of their differences in looks, style, personality and music (that's not to say that Hillary has horrible looks, style and music. Isaid she was cute, and her acting was ok, I never said it was horrible).

Maybe Hillary knows that Evanescence has been far more sucessful than she has, and she's a bit jealous (that's just my thinking, I really don't know). I am a little mad that hillary said Amy Lee is freaky looking. I mean, look, Hillary, if you have looks, fame and fortune, and millions of fans, why should you even care what Amy Lee does or what she looks like?
