The political process is one thing: My worry is about the supposed 'change' promised. Where is that? The nominees are tired retreads. Same-Obama-same-O

I just wish for 2012 when Gov Palin will become our new President. Certainly, Gov Pawlenty and Sen Norm Coleman will be rewarded with good jobs also. This will be a happy time when we can return to our conservative roots. Don't forget about Jeb Bush in Florida - he is alive and well. My dream is for him to follow in the foot steps of the other Bush family members. Wouldn't this be a wonderful thing? Yes, yes, we can.

Tired retreads? How about people with experience who have already been vetted? Every time we elect a new president there are stories about how the new administration didn't have a cabinet cleared and confirmed 5, 6, 7, 8 months into its first year.

Heck, Bush and company said one of the reason they didn't see September 11 coming was that the new administration wasn't up to speed yet. I'll take retreads over new terror attacks any day. You really want to do on-the-job-training while the economy is teetering?

Me, I want the experienced doctor, lawyer, electrician, plumber, politician ...

Besides all that -- the change is the change in philosophy. Wal-Mart doesn't change corporate strategy when they hire a new store manager.

Well, if that's what you wanted then president-elect Obama must be a disappointment. He has been a junior Senator and hasn't run anything on his own. You may be correct about experience, but then we didn't vote for that in choosing Obama. His campaign was based on change, and I do not see any evidence of that promise.
