Maybe it is because the white people resegregated themselves to get away from minorities. So you solution is to force people together would don't want to be. Sounds about as smart as putting a Jewish state in the middle of a region or Arabs.

Man started out in small bands, then tribes, then nations. All of them people of the same race until along came America the melting pot. When people came to America they stayed with people they were like. Hense China towns, Little Italys and so on.
Birds of a feather flock together. It is really that simple.
O by the way, Eric, come on lighten up. Jews were in the Middle east for centuries before the Arabs became Muslims.
