Funnyman Jack Black films at WSNM

Jack Black is great! I love all his movies!! I Cant wait to see Year One!!!

I was one of the lucky 20 to appear in this particular slave scene, as well as others from Albuquerque and Las Cruces.

It wasn't as "Hollywood" as I thought it would be. Organized chaos and alot of waiting. Taking buses, vans and walking.

I must say it was freezing the first few days, then hot and windy, then freezing again. We were all wrapped in blankets and jackets and sunglasses, then had to remove them minutes before filming each day.

Long days, over 12 hours, with only a few minutes of filming each day. Several people actually passed out due to dehydration! Standing in a small cage next to Michael Cera, Horacio Sanz, Jack Black, Matt, Juno and others was awesome and worth it!

All the cast and crew were great, and the catering, the BEST. We had a great time and made some good friends and who can complain with union wages!

Got a great photo with Director Harold Ramis and almost fired because of it! Can't wait for the film to be released!*sigh* over a year from now!

We ought to embrace Hollywood coming to Otero County for filiming and spending millions of dollars in New Mexico. It's a clean industry that supports local communities. Can't wait for Transformers 2!

My very favorite Jack Black movie was School of Rock.

when my son was a soph in high school he came home w/ his basketball picture and he said he looked like Jack Black,(which he did).His last game that season at Gadsden every time he got the ball or went to shoot free throws their crowd(mostly students) started yelling,"jack black,jack black".we wound up winning,(he scored over 30 pnts)and he became friends w/ alot of the students there.later that yr i took the family to el paso and while we were passing by some kids they were saying something in spanish,and the term "school of rock" (in english)came out.last night at chilis jack black was there and my son got his picture taken w/him and also got his soph.b-ball pic autographed.mr black said"i feel like i'm autographing my own picture.my son was stoked!!

Leo, I think a lot of us envy you the experience! I know one of the guys hired to help with the animals and can't wait to hear his stories!

One of my little library patrons was very proud to tell me her mother was an extra, too. I wonder how many of us will be going to watch the movie just to see one quick scene:)
