What?? 30 days in a diversion program! This sounds like a "slap on the wrist" to me! Ordinary people would be doing serious hard time for this especially in the draconian state of California.
Actors like Robert Downey and Tom Sizemore have gotten off way to easy on repeat offenses. How about for once making examples of them!

It would seem that the celebs always get off with a slap on the wrist, but if you do a little investigating, you will discover that alot of first time offenders get the same thing that he just got. It's called a second chance. Lets just pray that he puts it to good use and doesn't end back in the same situation again.

What a joke -how come he gets away with serving no jail time, when the rest of us would be locked up with the key thrown away?

i wish him well, and hope he's learned something from this. - i was kind of hoping his character would be saved in the nic of time, since grissom had not left that diner yet, thought maybe there'd be just enuf time to find him and help him. - oh well -

My two teenagers, who are big CSI fans, were very disappointed that the guy who plays "Warrick" got arrested. It was an opportunity to talk about drugs, and how people can get sucked into that whole thing, and how it can cost you so much. I hope other parents took the same opportunity.

I've known a couple of people who have been busted for felony narc possession (meth). Both people were first-time offenders and had clean records. One was jailed in a holding cell, bailed out within a day, and immediately given a drug diversion program. The other stayed in L.A. County jail for a few months until his case was heard, and only then was he given drug diversion. The difference between these two people was that the first one had PRIVATE COUNSEL, and a good one at that. The other had to rely on a public defender, who could give a rat's ass about helping him when he was just a number in his caseload. Celebrities seem to get off with a slap on the wrist but in reality it is because they have very good lawyers who can help them and bail them out. You'd be amazed what a great lawyer can do for your case!

Good for him, I hope he accepts the chance he has been given. I wish him all the best on his road to recovery.
