Well, he can always be a judge on "Law and Order". Jack McCoy is doing too good of a job as District Attorney to be replaced.

Im sorry to hear about Fred Thompson dropping out of the race. It definitely reduces the chance of us getting a Constitutionalist and a true conservative in office. It also reduces our chances of having a President who is honest and firm christian.
However, all hope is not lost. There is still Hope for America. That hope can become a reality if you join me in the Ron Paul Revolution! Like Senator Thompson, Dr. Paul has established a reputation on Capitol Hill as one who stands by the Constitution, and is not afraid to go against his party for the betterment of his country. His conservatism has been compared to that of Robert Taft, Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan.
Dr. Paul is an OB/GYN who has delivered over 4,000 babies and also sponsored the Sanctity of Life bill which would outlaw abortions immediately. He also recently picked up the endorsement of Norma McCorvey, a well known Pro-Life activist. He has NEVER voted for any kind of gun control and best of all, he wants to abolish the IRS and the income tax.
I strongly urge you to join the ranks of thousands who are fed up with party politics and want a man of integrity in the White House. Please join me in supporting Ron Paul for President.

How sad. I'm going to miss his youthful enthusiasm, invigorating performances at the debates, and his fiery, passionate stump speeches.

WHO? Is this the guy who started late, but was expected to be the front runner by the taking heads. I guess not every actor makes a good president.

Well, I guess I have to take the Fred '08 bumper sticker off of my car.

Bernard Goldberg said that one of the reasons why he though Thompson would do well was that, like Ronald Reagan, people knew where he stood, and that his positions were grounded in core beliefs and not opinion polls and focus groups.

A Romney-Thompson ticket will be a winner. Romney's business, Olympics and government leadership and his obvious expertise in economics plus Thompson's southern roots, name recognition, speaking ability and personal appearance make for a highly effective combination. Meanwhile, try to imagine a running mate for Hillobama!!! Any running mate for Hillary better consign herself to being Bill's occasional roommate or
being placed in charge of Ice Station Zebra.

I dare say that President Reagan, Senator Goldwater and even Governor Taft were liberals compared to Congressman Paul---who in 2008 can easily and accurately be described as a political reactionary---which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is an accurate and honest label.

As a conservative and as a backer of Senator McCain, I'm sad to see Senator Thompson leave the race. He is truly a good man, a principled and thinking conservative, and a patriot. Would be a great VP choice for whoever the GOP nominee is.
