Just to set the "record" straight..........EddieK did NOT form the band Public Affection. Chad Taylor, Chad Gracey and Patrick Dahlheimer had been a band for quite some time prior to inviting Ed to be a part of the, then, trio.

Hey, great he made it...I am happy he is from York...But, isn't he the one who bashed York in his song, "Shi+town?" I thought so...Musically, he is not so talented...I really think they got lucky or blew someone someplace because their music stinks...

I have to agree with you. They all graduated from William Penn Senior High School in York Pa but they bash the city all the time. I went to school with them. They have always thought they were better than certain people. Please they did as much as the next one did.I am not hating because they made it but you should never forget where you came from. If you see a town where you came from is struggling with their teens why not go back and try to help out someway?

Why so much negativity towards Ed and LIVE? They were and still are an amazing band. You can turn on any alternative rock radio station throughout the country to this day and still hear their songs being played.
These guys never got the full support they deserved from York. I don't blame them one bit for their so-called "bashing" of York. These guys took their musical talents and used them as an opportunity to get out of York. You cannot blame them for that.
Over the years, they've played shows at the York Fair and the Strand among other local venues, when there were probably offers to play elsewhere. If they would have forgotten where they've come from, they wouldn't be playing these local shows. As far as "Sh*t Towne"...anyone thinking York does not meet the description of the song title needs to open their eyes.

Hey..it is what it is. The truth hurts. That's the problem with York and always will be. It's in a constant state of denial about it's horrible anti-social condition.

BTW, I have met Ed and the rest of the guys when they were "big" back in the 90s. Very cool and down to earth.

Typical closed-minded response from one of York's finest.

Being the "house band" at the Chameleon Club probably did more to jumpstart their career in Lancaster than anything in York did.

There are a lot worse places to be than York, so bashing it means nothing to me...I really don't care if they ever come back to York and help make it a better place....And if you think their music is good, you have bigger problems. If you like 90's alt music, try Jane's Addiction, Soundgarden (old), and Modest Mouse. They all are more complicated, less whiny, and far more interesting than this commercial pop -grunge known as Live...Just sayin'

The show was great. I would love to see more shows like this one, kind of like a VH1 storytellers. They should change the name and promote it better next time. All 3 of the performers were excellent.
