How ironic because it was j/ews chipping away at the immigration laws in every European country that allowed Muslims to get in. Same with the US. If it weren't for j/ews, this would still be a decent country.

Police estimated the crowd in London at 10,000 to 12,000, but organizers said the number was much higher. The marchers included activist Bianca Jagger, ex-Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox and comedian Alexei Sayle.

"As a Jew, it's very moving to see so many people who are so outraged at Israel's actions," Sayle said. "Israel is a democratic country that is behaving like a terrorist organization."

==========

All non-fundamentalist, none-orthodox Jews are against the brutality of the Zionist regime in Israel.

Europe will riot against the neocon influenced governments unless the brutality ceases and a TWO STATE solution is implemented forthwith.

Israel's tardiness on reaching a negotiated solution is the real cause of the violence. A few "rockets" which are no more than scaffolding pipe with fins welded on the ends are most certainly not the reason.

Israeli elections and the imminent departure of the original object of the brogue attack, Dubya Bush, may well have something to do with the attack. Or am I just being cynical?

Whatever.

All right minded Jews who are not blinded by superstition are most certainly against this affront to humanity and the God of Abraham.

Was Sting too busy to join or did he not want to loose his shoes?

We are in a recession and these privelidged people feel they can rub it in and throw away their shoes, it is a disgrce that they have not been fined for littering the streets.

Were they kosher shoes? How do you know they were holocausted? Maybe it's a myth like he last one.

That is a most excellent commentary. Please allow me a quick quote to make things more accessible for others:

==========

An American newspaper or TV network that took a stand against Israel’s abuse of Palestinians would be confronted with an advertising boycott organized by AIPAC. American politicians who criticize Israel go down to defeat by Israel Lobby money.

Hegel gave too much emphasis to ideas, Marx too much to material interests. Both forces operate in the world. There are times in history when revolutionary ideas shatter material interests. Other times the two coexist in a balance of power. In other times material interests prevail over morality.

We are living in the latter time. Financial interests, the military-security complex, and the Israel Lobby are the powers that rule America. They are buttressed by neoconservatives and Christian Zionists and by the patriotic hubris that America is the main force for good operating in the world. The evils America commits are dismissed as necessary to the service of good. The destruction of Iraq, for example, is justified as “bringing freedom and democracy to the Iraqi people.”

==========

That is so accurate.

The orthodox Jews in America are completely processed. They have no point of view other than that fed by their financial betters.

Jewery has only one hope and that is the Jews within Israel itself. Only they have the scruples to put an end to the violence and expansion forced by their government. They must react.

I'll repeat myself for clarity:

Despite the truly horrendous conditions in Gaza, possibly worse than any battle zone for a long time - starvation, no water, no medical supplies, freezing temperatures, millions of people trapped in a closed compound and with the knowledge that these people have been starved like this for months before the state military attacks ....

... Israel, and with the USA's full backing, have been refusing point blank to allow any cease-fire whatsoever to allow wasted mothers and children to be treated.

They know there will be no rapid resolution of the conflict. No knock-out blow. In all previous battles where the IDF were up against much more lethal and better armed opposition there has always been a cease-fire.

The Palestinians are a group of people sharing the same land as the Jews. They are neighbours for life. No political leader would subject his life-long neighbours to a starvation regime followed by inhuman brutality simply because of the hatred and difficulty this would cause for generations into the future.

What we need to ask ourselves is this. Is Israel, with America's blessing, planning for the final eradication of the Palestinian Problem? Their own final solution.

It is said that the Jews are the chosen people. More high minded Jews will tell you that they have been chosen by God to suffer for their sins so that in doing so they will learn from their mistakes and thus lead the rest of humanity into a better way of life.

If so ... I would humbly suggest that if there are any moderate Jews in Israel and the USA who have that magical combination of morals and guts, to actual react quickly against the evil within their midst. Soon may be too late.

I know the Daily Mail is not my favourite newspaper, but this article from today gives a very good overview of how Israel fails to learn from it's history, and clearly points a finger at where leadership has been so lacking.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11100...

It's a good one to read with my Israel's war turns to rat-shit posting where I put forward the idea that Israel is actually wilful in the way it goes about making mistakes.

Protesters of this kind are normally Pakistanis on the dole and/or bored students looking to meet girls (instead of going down the pub and dropping six quid on a Babysham for a "maybe").

These type of clowns use to make Thatcher laugh until she cried.

After it's all over, it'll be back to someone's place for a spliff, an hour or so of telly and then Chinese take-away.

Have fun, kids.
