The flicks from the 30's, 40's, and 50's are the best. Not all of them, obviously, but there are a lot of great movies. Even the silent movies from the late 20's are watchable, IMHO. But in the interest of full disclosure...I tried to watch 'Neptune's Daughter' years ago, and couldn't. It did not 'age' well.
