sometime in the late 1960s, I heard a Cream song
which I cannot locate on any song lists for this
band... in the background was a beautiful french
horn or other brass instrument... the vocal was
talking rather than singing... words something
like "witbalm and SKILLINGTON"... never did know
what the tune was about... a soccer match ? A
pair of historic characters ?
Anyway, I would much appreciate it if anyone
knew the name of this tune, so I could find
it and listen to it. I also cannot say which
of the three provided the voice, though I would
guess Jack Bruce.

OOPS :-) Well... I have found the Creme song with the beautiful "french horn" background... apparently more a
trumpet of some kind... and, it has a vocal... a talking voice. The song was "pressed rat and warthog"... really, kind of disgusting lyrics(!). Nothing in there about "something and skillington" tho... that must be another recording.

This song (pressed rat) was in fact on the US album... sorry to have suggested it might be british release.

Today's New Moon in your sixth house reminds you not to neglect your health or general well-being. It's the ideal time to arrange a check-up with your doctor or dentist, or to follow up a medical query. Cancerians love yummy food, and the festive season is hardly the best time to start a diet, but you still might want to monitor your calorie intake.
