I don't think he's the first openly gay artist to have a number one album in the U.S.

What about people like Van Cliburn, Johnny Mathis, Elton John and Freddie Mercury ?

All of these people had their No. 1's before they came out. As where Adam was out before the No.1 album.

I think with everyone I named, it was an open secret if they weren't offically out. I read today that Jim Parsons came out, but I thought he came out a couple of years ago. If he didn't come out ffically a few years ago then it was an open secret anyways.

Anne Murray, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Sheena Easton, Karen Carpenter, Reba, the whole operatic and musical theatre world... a lot of the best voices have songs written for them...

He is NOT an 'artist' of any kind. He is only a mediocre pop 'singer.' The closest he will ever get to being an artist is if he draws flies in the summer!

I think he's pretty good for one of those corporate-reality show performer factories. And he came out at considerable risk...not four decades later and after everyone knew anyway like R. Martin.

I think he is very talented. I like that his music sounds a little old school and not all hip-hoppy and rappy.

Well they are talking about albums not songs I believe. Elton John wasn't always openly gay I don't think. I think he said later he was bisexual and then came out as gay but I'm sure he had several number ones before that.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Libra

Be very careful when handling financial matters today because not everything is as straightforward as it seems. For instance, someone may tell you about a fail-safe way of making money but neglect to mention all the reasons why it's totally illegal. There could also be mistakes if you're spending money, such as being short-changed or overcharged. So watch out!
