The first few seasons of Married were some of the funniest shows ever to appear. Even after that, it never succumbed to being lame -- cartoonish and stupid, sure but never lame or boring.
The classic episode where Al builds his own bathroom ("It's a Ferguson!") is the greatest achievement of modern man... Well, regardless, thanks to Ron Leavitt for creating one of my favorite all time shows! |

Married w/ Children was probably the most unbelievable sitcom on television. The stuff they got away with was incredible. One of my favorite episodes was with Al and Jefferson fighting over the apple tree in the backyard and the battle it took to get it. M with C also allowed us to watch Christina Applegate in all her stunning and beautiful glory.
RIP Ron Leavitt... you are a genius |

They should've had an episode where the daughter was offered a porn contract. That scenario was just screaming for attention. I used to like the way Al used to knock her bf's heads against the wall b4 throwing them out the door. Jefferson was screwing her. His wife was hell ugly. |

Shaun and hinamanu are right. I used to LOVE to watch Christina come bouncing into the room every week in the opening theme (remember when shows had opening themes?). Bouncing, bouncing, bouncing. Oohhhhhhhhhhh... |

I have seen a porn tape based on the show. The girl was young with huge stand up titties. But my fav impersonation was of Christina Ricci. A bronzed huge tittied goddess. |

They should've put her on Baywatch.
Even if Pam got jealous. all the models had to be over 22 when thy have lost their teen looks. have you noticed there's no sex on tv b4 25. Practically over the hill. |

most people don't know that when Al Bundy was sitting on his sofa with his feet up and his hand under the belt of his pants, that was REALLY Ronny Leavitt, but Ron always had a Winston in the other hand. He did this many times at my house in the early 70s

was its success due to its timing.
was it simply bold for its time and tame now? I know the execs were nervous as bout it, but they were nervous bout Fonzy wearin a leather jacket. wonder how far away we are from a topless sitcom? |
