yes, of course i would visit dire straits, if the only came back! sorry, but i don't like the latest mk-style as much as in former times... he seems to be (or to get) old, but that doesn't fit to his powerful songs like Money for Nothing, Telegraph Road, Sultans of Swing, Calling Elvis, Heavy Fuel,... you can simply call that rock! i don't want country, folk or something such quiet, it is because of dire straits, why i like dire straits!
by the way, i'm more than 30 years younger than mk and i have never had the opportunity to buy ds-albums at the time they were released, but i know every tone and solo by heart! Dire Straits reunion now!

Personally I would love to see a Dire Straits reunion. However, I believe the only way should be with the original line up including Marks brother David and Pick Withers on Drums.

I think Regina would put on a huge sold out concert for Dire Straits. They did for the Rolling Stones and we would love to see them here.

As a Straits fan of over 25 years, I truly believe the CD's still sound as fresh as they did the first time, it just depends on your mood and surroundings. This is the true beauty of the albums, timeless classics. MK, we are addicted and in need of a fix with this bloody economy and everything else that is lacking in life...please don't make a DS reunion the next item on the scrap heap!!

If they did come back, what I would like is a new album. But, please, not one of those "Greatest Hits" ones. I mean, new material. I agree that MK's new material has not met my expectations but I'm sure he can return to his first time style

bring 'em on!! dire straights is one of the very best bands around, ever.always have loved 'em. still love. maybe even more now. timeless classics. i am crying for more!! old stuff , new, whatever. it is all great.

I wouldn't miss a Dire Straits concert for the world. I'm 16 so never had the chance to experiance them while they were together but this would be awesome!

Are you kidding these guys are legends!! There is no way I would miss it. They are at the top of my list of bands I must see before I die. Although its not sounding promising!
