Where did you get your information from? Aretha was considered for Motown Records but her father didn't like the terms of the contract. Also, Erma Franklin DID record "I Get The Sweetest Feeling" in 1968 for Brunswick Records - producer Carl Davis even used the background music track from Jackie Wilson's version for Erma's rendition.
