Perhaps the movies of The Alamo do not do the seige and battle justice or are perhaps a little 'hokey' and historically incorrect. However, they in no way detract from the sacrifices made by the 189 men from many countries (including Mexicans defending the Alamo).
If you have ever been to the Alamo (even if you are not a native Texan), it is almost impossible not to be in awe in what these men did and endured over 13 days.
