Debussy was a prolific composer and his pieces incite the listener imagination, galvanize the spirit, and are a portrayal of creativity. His works are however, complicated. I myself have study Clair de Lune, one of the most acclaimed songs of all time, delicate and musical. It is a good piece to play but beware although the beginning is easy as it evolves it becomes rather difficult. I am commencing to play Le Cathedral Engloutie or Sunken cathedral and it is replete of bizarre and complicated melodies. I am truly a debussy fan and hope to express my views with other people who like impressionism and his works.
