It's a pitty Supernatural's not doing as good as it could since people are so enamoured by the plastic medical dramas. It really is the best show on CW (how in the world is Smallville STILL around?!) and if they don't bring it back I'll never watch anything on that green monster network ever again.

It's a shame Supernatural is even having to struggle for ratings. It's excellent, intelligent television without being soapy or pandering. The tough timeslot doesn't help, but the grevious lack of promotion helps even less. It's been mostly up to the fans to get the word out, and even still, I've run into far too many people who have never even heard of it. I do appreciate that the CW is finally starting to do advertisements for it around major cities, I just hope they are fair and don't punish the show with cancellation for the fact that they hadn't just dropped the ball but never once picked the ball up before this.

Supernatural is really on the toughest timeslot of all, it is as it was already said against the two shows with the biggest ratings on tv actually and it has still managed to keep its audience. I really think it's one of the best shows on the CW and even with its ups and downs it had done a great job, its a really addictive show once you get hooked there's no way back, hopefully more people will find about that eventually and preffer it over the other shows =)

Supernatural is fantastic. The actors are exceptional. It is a thrilling ride from start to finish. I find that I get scared, laugh, and cry at some point in each episode.

This show deserves multiple seasons. Everyone- please check this show out. You won't be sorry.

Supernatural is the best show on television today. Most people don't know what a great show is on the air because of the network it's on. My Mom scoffed at it until I sat her down and she devoured one a half seasons easily with genuine interest. The actors are amazing, the storyline is amazing, the characters.. they all blew me out of the water. If any show deserves at third season it's Supernatural.

For a lot of shows, there is not a lot of difference.Hospital drama, lawyers and cop shows need a really different angle to be interesting.
Supernatural is exciting because is deals with something completely novel.
Not every show deals with ghosts, demons and urban ledgends. Kudos to the producers for something new! And good luck to the show.

I've watched three out of four shows on this poll. Bones - must die, Emily's acting is wooden, the only reason to tune in is David Boreanaz; Close to home - can I say boring, weakest Bruckheimer offfering. I stopped watching both shows mid first season.

Supernatural - Best show on TV! wonderful acting, absorbing plotlines, truly spooky moments, WORLDWIDE tremendously loyal fan base - 1000's of blogs, won the TV.com poll for best Scifi offering by a large margin over its closest competitor. The only show in my mind that deserves to be renewed.

Supernatural is an amazing show. The writing, acting, and directing is brilliant. The plotlines grab your attention from the start and when it's over you still want more. There is a wonderful balance between seriousness and hilarity. Supernatural has everything I look for in a show and is the only show on the CW that I truly enjoy.

Supernatural is the only show that I bother to make time watching in my busy schedule. The actors are fantastic, they work so hard and really deserve a huge audience. The whole concept of the show is original and wonderfully written. This is the most underrated show on tv and really has a diverse fan base from teens to grandparents.

To add to my previous post, it's too bad that the ratings are based only on US numbers. Supernatural is well appreciated world-wide. In BC it airs on three different channels on Thursday night and repeats on Friday and Saturday on a fourth network. It's a very popular show in Canada.

If you happen to see "Supernatural" for the first time, be warned. The bright colors, flashy sets, thrilling special effects, scintillating dialogue, hot sex, and larger-than-life heroes of other television shows aren't to be found here.
The colors of "Supernatural" range from murky yellow to olive drab to dark grey under a sky so grim you might find yourself grabbing for the remote to brighten things up. Far from flashy, the sets and locations are the height of humdrum: desolate roads, muddy fields, dripping woods, boring towns, cheap diners, and motel rooms so ludicrously cheesy the mention of "maid service" in a recent episode evoked peals of laughter in my family room. As for the special effects. Well, use your imagination. For the most part, you won't have any choice.
Then, there's the dialogue. Forget about those bons mots, witty exchanges, probing insights, and grandiose speeches you hear on other series. The characters of "Supernatural" sound suspiciously like real people, not scriptwriters.
I recall there was some hot sex on "Supernatural," though. Once. It didn't last long because the older brother had to hunt down a phantom truck that was making mincemeat of drivers. So if steamy locker room scenes are what you'll have to go elsewhere. In "Supernatural," the focus is always on the job of saving lives.
Of course, the show has plenty of romance--though not of the usual kind. The romance of "Supernatural" has its roots in ancient and medieval tales of warriors and knights who set out on a long and lonely quest to rescue others by defeating evil in the world. Here, the horse is a creaky '67 Impala, the trackless wastes are the backroads of middle America (resembling Vancouver), and the sword or javelin has been replaced by a trunk full of holy water, rock salt, consecrated rounds, and other weapons against evil entities. But, as in those early romances, "Supernatural" is always based on oral legends, lore, and myths--the kinds of tales told around fires for as long as humanity's feared the darkness.
And the heroes? They're of the ancient variety, as well. True, the younger brother has a little ESP working now and then, but don't expect to see any comic book feats from these guys. The heroism of the Winchesters is simple and familiar. It has its source in pain, struggle, defeat, anger, doubt, determination, faith, love, and immense self-sacrifice--in other words, in all those things that can and often do turn ordinary people into heroes worthy of the name.
So, if you happen to stumble across "Supernatural," keep in mind you're seeing something different from every other show on television. It's poor; it's cheesy; it's absolutely brilliant. It's also totally addictive. So, remember: you've been warned.

Supernatural should definitely be renewed because the actors are so talented, the creativity of Erik Kripke is awesome and the show is a wonderful combination of horror/fiction, comedy, and drama.

I think the CW would be crazy not to renew Supernatural. It's up against the two biggest shows on tv (and I still can't understand why those shows are so popular! Grey's Anatomy is just a rip-off of what ER was 10 years ago and how many CSI shows or cop shows do you need? But, just my opinion...)

Still, Supernatural is holding its own, and it has a very loyal following.

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
