It's called acting. I suppose you think someone can't play a murderer on TV or in a film unless they've actually committed a murder.

You're right ... and I loved the interplay between Niles and Frasier ... they convinced me they'd grown up together. But Martin as their dad? That took a large leap of faith, but I know I leapt. Frasier was a must-see and I'll still re-watch favorite episodes. Like the time Lilith visited Seattle after she found Frasier's old letter and Daphne came down with an unbearable psychic headache.

That was a good show! Some of the best "brother on brother" fighting ever!

His lust for Daphne was memorable.

really, that would be a first, most times they cast kids that don't even look like their TV dad or mom (blonds vs. brunettes or vice a versa)

I dunno ... remember how nuts Deb got when she thought her divorced parents were back together only to discover they only wanted sex in Ray and Deb's bedroom? I don't think Deb could handle an affair. Plus that, Marie would sniff it out immediately. Marie would eagerly USE evidence like THAT. Marie would only really be happy if Raymond were married to Robert.

And this is newsworthy because...? Gee, there have never been any homosexual artists. Live your private life privately. I hope they live happy and fulfilled lives together. It's none of my business, and this sort of thing is very old news now.

It's called publicity. Obviously David wanted some positive publicity put out about his life. Otherwise it's the first I've heard of it. When people like Mr Hyde Pierce wish to use their popularity for a cause, they often do that. And part of their being a celebrity leaves them open to some comment from anyone who disagrees with them, but that's America.
