Dave Matthews Band Performs In Hartford

Willie Nelson is begging for cash these days?

I never understood why DMB's crowds here were so rowdy in the past. Can anyone explain why that was?? I mean, back in the days when I regularly attnded concerts in the area (Dillon Stadium, etc.), arrests weren't all that common - at least not big public displays, anyway.

I've been to this show for years and it seems to get worse each year. I see mostly white males in their mid 20's throwing beer bottles, urinating wherever they please IN the concert, sweeping trash on the ground and leaving it there for others to pick up. The music is fantastic, but the few people who feel entitled to act out violently and destroy other people's property really ruin it for me. I've been to quite a few DMB shows all over the place, but the DMB shows at the Meadows seem to bring out the worst in people. It's really to bad b/c for the most part, the crowd is great - it's just those few who ruin it for others.

dont blame the band, these peoples are gorillas before and will be long after Dave Mathews band pack up.
