Conan will be great. Leno is like your grandparents, you have to laugh because they're nice and you don't want them to feel bad but Conan will make you laugh from your gut. Letterman is funny with his top ten and if his guest is tanking. Conan will be fine if he keeps his same weird but somehow comforting humor. Comparisons of the other talk show hosts are irrelevant because each host is different. Conan won't be Carson, he won't be Leno and he won't be Letterman. Conan will be Conan and that's the way it should be.
