Conan O'Brien's former "Late Night" sidekick will rejoin him on "The Tonight Show." NBC announced Tuesday that Andy Richter will be the announcer when O'Brien takes over "Tonight" in June.

This is a win-win. Conan will have a comedy partner when he needs it and Andy will be able to focus on other projects in LA to further his career. I can't wait to see how Conan works at 11:30.

Honestly, this just makes me sad for the utterly failed career Richter's had since leaving Conan. He's been working, but so many projects that were intended to be long-term didn't work out. So now he's back to being a sidekick. I honestly hope he's happy with this and that it works out well for Conan.
