Conan O'Brien preps for new era of 'Tonight Show'

He used to be funnier about 8 years ago. Now as I matured into an adult, his show isn't very appealing to me. We'll miss Leno.

Leno is a piece of garbage and so are the people who watch him. Why can't leno and Dick Cheney both sail a row boat off a cliff and go away. They're done.

Simple minds are amused by simple things = watching Conan.....

Ah, yes... the mature, sophisticated humor of Jay Leno. He always made you think.

Jay is a fine, above average comedian. The reality is that his show never approached the gold standard set by Johnny Carson. Jay's audience share had less to do with the strength of his show versus the weak opposition.

Let me be the first to state: What is funny at 11:30 is rarely funny at 10:30. Conan is in for a very bumpy ride as he inherits the franchise.

Good luck to Jay, but he won't missed by a long shot. My preference would have been to see Jon Steward take the show over and evolve to something more than monologue, schtick, wuss interviews, and maybe a band.

New era for Tonight show, maybe O'Brien should try a new hair cut. Get rid of that mop that looks like he slept on it. After the first couple of weeks of everyone seeing what he has to offer and the ratings go down hill maybe they will realize O'Brien not the answer. He is not funny just assinine while he tries to be funny. A clone of Letterman and now ,at least, I will get to bed earlier.

I agree, I never watched Conan I found him boring and stupid.. and I'm with you on getting to bed earlier because of it..

I turned on his first tonight show and turned it off after 15 min,it was bad just like I knew it would be,boy am I going to miss Jay Leno.Why did NBC take off a high rated show and replace it with crap?

Just watched the first show which I tivo'd it was great. Conan was hilarious. Great to see Richter there and Max Weinbergs band was awsome. PEARL JAM SUCKED. I can see now why i havent heard about these guys in awhile. they looked like "Helmut" and sounded like "U2". lame lame lame.
