Hope the ratings die for the tonight show. What NBC did to Leno was crap. Who fires the guy that wins the tims slot year after year. Conan isn't worth it.

Conan O'Brien is the most boring and annoying person on all of TV. He'll never fill Leno's shoes.

So sad to see Leno go. Conan will kill the Tonight Show. How can NBC not see this?

Leno sucks, so glad to see him go. His 'humor' was so cheesy and low brow. Oh wait, yeah no wonder most of America likes him.

I think NBC is crazy to end a money making show and replace Leno with Conan. I don't find Conan's
jumping and humor funny. Leno's humor is topical and original. I admire his work ethic and character.Has any one else helped out the people having hard times with free concerts? I hope the 10 pm show is a huge success. Good Luck Jay!!! I can hardly wait for September and in the mean time I will be watching David Letterman.

I agree 100%, but hey, it'll be great for Letterman and Ferguson.

I have seen Jay in several venues as well as taping the Tonight Show. Always enjoyed TS from back in the Johnny days. Conan is not my cup of tea, I will switch back to David Letterman sorry NBC, but Conan is a poor choice to take the helm.

It's about time, Lenos jokes were so lame he couldn't even get the audience to laugh at them anymore. Both him and Letterman all they did was bash Bush but would hardly say anything about their sacred cow Obama. Good bye and Good Riddance, maybe Letterman will follow I would rather see infomercials

Leno is a very likable, hard working nice guy. Unfortunately i always found his show a tame autopilot snoozefest. Maybe Conan will bring some much need life into this old warhorse NBC franchise, but i'd still rather watch Stewart and Colbert. BTW to the above, Bush was an easy target, the worst president in the history of the USA> well ok, Time magazine had him at 37th best, lol!!

Watching the "Best of" clips from Leno this week has been really depressing...Leno seems like a great guy, but it was pretty boring stuff compared to Letterman's prime time specials and Conan's Best of segments during his final week. The difference was astounding.

The bodybuilder with the big chin? The Dancing Itos? Really?

Ha, ha, ha, ha...thanks for the laughs everyone. Excellent comments from you all! Jay, you were funny...and I did enjoy your GUITAR player adding his jokes when your's died. Conan...you are a dork and Letterman, your jokes can be lame too. As for the ratings? CBS & NBC need a new Market Research team because you "buried yourselves".

Didn't Jay force Carson out against Johnny's will? He did one Will Roger's class guest host job after another and then when the Stations wanted Carson out and Jay had his job he put it on short person and fat person jokes for about six months. I thought Johnny and Ed and Doc resented Leno? Johnny gave Lettermen his Karnack hat and wrote jokes for Dave to read in retirement. History is written by those who are still alive and financially solvent?
