I just got done watching Jimmy fallon and after remembering John goodman as Conan's first guest--watching letterman's first show online and watching jimmy kimmel's premiere show i can safely say that there is no way in hell that jimmy fallon will last more than 3 years. The show was an absolute disaster from beginning to end. The guy sucks--he's a spaz--and Deniro knew he was screwed the minute he sat down. Horrible, I mean really really bad.

Jimmy Fallon is HORRIBLE; DeNiro wanted nothing to do with him. Timberlake could have been a better host. The announcer is retarded...I will not be watching this poop for another minute.

The difference between Conan, Kimmel, and Fallon is that Conan and Kimmel were funny and talented before starting their new shows. Fallon was terrible on SNL and had no comedic discipline (as seen by his cracking up in every skit). Yes Conan and Kimmel were pegged by critics at the start, but they had skill to carry them through. Let's hope for Late Night's sake that Fallon's run is a short one. I watched his first few to give Fallon a chance...he's simply the wrong man for the job.
