I always choose the water pokemon on an adventure because they can always learn a move later in the game that is super effective against the other beginer pokemon. Also in diamond version I always train my pokemon to LV.10 before even going to where profesor rowan lives, which is really hard when your at a high level. My favorite pokemon in my team (and probably the most powerful) is my blissey LV.100 which has about 760 HP. and really good moves, they are:
Ice punch Fire punch Lightning punch and the most important, softboiled (which makes its HP go up half the way. |

It is also very easy to train because it becomes LV.100 with only 800,000 experience, and for others it takes 1,000,000 or more.

Well,it isnt on the list but my favorite ones are:Gyarados,Starmie,Typhlosio n,Meganium,Charizard,Vulpix,Es peon and so on.
