So happy 75th, El Patio - a grim hole of casual violence and lost dreams, where future generations are sure to waste their lives as so many others already have.

In that case, yes, there are probably more hispanics than pure-blood Mexicans at El Patio, and one of them indeed drunkingly attacked me after I, as a longtime, law-abiding patron who chatted amiably with bartenders Jimi, Bobby, Micah, and Jenny (the bar must be making stories up about me at this point to cover their ****) refused to all of a sudden be the butt of her insults.
So, Chorizo, go back to resting your head on the bar and living your pathetic life. You seem to have a knack for wonderful, unreal visions - maybe submit something to the border book festival next year.
